We will be hosting the Eyemobile on September 20, 2009, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, at CVS, Weymouth, Junction of Routes 53 and 18. The Weymouth Lions donated over $4,000 to area charities at the 33K Midwinter Conference, in February, at the Sheraton Hotel in Braintree! Our club recently purchased and donated a Merlin Color Video Magnifier to the Tufts Library, Weymouth. Accompanying the magnifier is a 20" monitor that can magnify images and text 66X. The user also has the ability to use different screens while reading or working on their project. As each visually impaired person sees differently, the choice of screens is a powerful tool. The Lions also purchased and donated to the Library the table that properly fits and holds the magnifier.
